Factory Trawlers
The Trident trawl catcher or fleet is comprised of 3 vessels ranging in size from 270 to 300 ft. These vessels operate in the Bering Sea, Aleutian Islands, Washington and Oregon with the majority of the harvesting operations taking place in the Bering Sea. The primary target species for these vessels is Pollock which are targeted in late winter and in the summer months and Pacific Whiting which are targeted in the spring and fall. When not engaged in harvesting operations these vessels spend time in the shipyard undergoing repair and maintenance work, preparing for their next season.
Processors
The primary products for these vessels is herring and salmon, both in Bristol Bay and SE Alaska. The bulk of their season is April through August, though both have done ing in the Feb-March time period in the past. Total crew size during herring ranges from 58 to 75 people and from 100 to 120 people during salmon.
Trawl Catchers
The Trident trawl catcher vessel fleet is comprised of 11 vessels ranging in size from 100 to 165 ft. These vessels operate in the Bering Sea, Aleutian Islands and Gulf of Alaska with the majority of the harvesting operations taking place in the Bering Sea. The primary target species for these vessels are pollock and Pacific cod which are targeted in late winter and in the summer months. When not engaged in harvesting operations these vessels are known to spend time as tender for other fisheries as well as doing charter work for fisheries research purposes.
Crab Catchers
The Trident crab catcher vessel fleet is comprised of 5 vessels ranging in size from 108 to 144 ft. These vessels spend the majority of their fishing time in the Bering Sea targeting King crab, Opilio (Snow crab), and Bairdi Tanner crab. These fisheries take place from late fall through the winter months. In addition to crab, some of these vessels will harvest Pacific cod and Sablefish (Black cod) in the Bering Sea using cod pot gear. During the summer months the vessels stay busy tendering salmon in Bristol Bay and in Southeast Alaska.

Support processing vessels and shore based facilities, transporting freight to and within Alaska and south to Washington.
Tenders, Company owned and operated
Support statewide salmon and groundfish fisheries.
